Don Ramon’s
Don Ramon’s Restaurant has been serving authentic Mexican food and classic margaritas located in San Francisco, CA. The Ramirez family have an established reputation with the San Francisco Small Business Commission, and was recognized as an asset and vital part of the community by bestowing it as a Legacy Business in 2020. With crafted family recipes from Mexico, the restaurant introduced traditional flavors and dishes to their customers.
I created a new branding and identity system inspired by the vibrant and flavorful ingredients of Mexican cooking. Bold primary fonts set a distinct tone for the brand and are complemented by a vivid and celebratory color palette.

Logo Identity + Stationery Systems + Photography
Brand Identity
The brand identity proposal alludes to their original logo with a contemporary approach; I wanted to create a Mexican identity without clichés. While still keeping the brand identity similar, I’ve applied a sketched margarita glass behind the typography for a metaphorical and playful feel, along with colorful and memorable colors inspired by the restaurant’s interior palette.
Menu Design Systems
I’ve crafted simple & elegant menu designs that can fit up to 50 delicious dishes that the restaurant offers. To keep the branding consistent with the identity, sketched illustrations are also applied to some of the categories on the menu.
